Our Tribute to Queen Elizabeth II

It was with the greatest sadness that all of us at 4 Aces learned of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, our longest serving British Sovereign.

One of our Directors, Ray Penn, was fortunate enough to have met this great lady many years ago and recalls as follows:

“Back in 1970 and as a 28-year-old and following several export awards to industry whilst working for Lesney Products, we received a factory visit from her majesty Queen Elizabeth II to see how Matchbox Toys were made. As the picture show’s I had the privilege of showing her majesty around the department for which I was responsible. Naturally, all of us at the company were filled with a great sense of pride to be given this wonderful opportunity to share the process with her and it is something I will never forget. So it is with great sadness that we hear of her majesty’s passing which brings about a reflection of times gone by and a deep dig into one’s own archives.”

The Queen will be remembered as a dedicated and hardworking monarch who always put her country first. Her legacy will live on for many years to come.
